PORT LAVACA, Texas - There was a public open house Wednesday evening on the Matagorda Ship Channel Improvement Project. It took place at the Bauer Exhibit Hall in Port Lavaca and attracted a full house. The event provided an opportunity for community members and stakeholders to learn more about the project and express any concerns or ask questions.
